Biographical & Tradition
Belief in the existence of angels is a dogma of the Church and a fundamental part of the Christian faith. While three Archangels are named in the canon of Scripture, the Eastern Catholic and Orthodox Churches recognize at least seven Archangels by name (and sometimes an eighth, St. Jeremiel). No matter how many Archangels you recognize, we are never to worship them, as worship is reserved only for God in the Most Holy Trinity.
