• Compact Design: With a circumference of approximately 21 inches, these rosaries are designed specifically for handheld prayer and meditation. Please note that due to this more compact size, they are not intended to be worn over the head.

Care and Handling

Our Royal Rosaries are not waterproof. To protect the high-end 18K gold plating and the glass cabochon centerpiece, please do not submerge in water. If the piece becomes wet, wipe it immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Keep your rosary in the provided velvet pouch when not in use.

The Holy Name vs. The Benedictine Motto

Many people notice that the crucifixes on our Royal, Majestic, and Classic rosaries look different from the ones found in local Catholic shops. The most significant difference lies at the very top of the St. Benedict medal.

The Modern Version (PAX): Most modern medals (the "Jubilee" version from 1880) feature the word PAX, which is Latin for "Peace." While peace is the beautiful motto of the Benedictine Order, it was not the original design approved by the Papacy for the medal’s use in spiritual warfare.

The Original Version (IHS): Our medals feature the IHS monogram. Derived from the first three letters of the Greek name for Jesus (ΙΗΣΟΥΣ), this monogram has been used since the earliest days of the Church to invoke the power of the Holy Name.

Why It Matters: > When Pope Benedict XIV approved the medal in 1741, he did so with the Name of Jesus (IHS) at its head. In the Rite of Exorcism and in the battle against "lost causes," it is not the abstract concept of "peace" that drives back darkness - it is the sovereign Name of Jesus. By restoring the IHS monogram to our rosaries, we return to the Christ-centered roots of this powerful sacramental, providing you with a "Shield of the Faithful" that is historically accurate and spiritually potent.
