The Decade Rosary: Devotion in Hand

Our Decade Rosaries (also known as Pocket Rosaries or Tenner Rosaries) offer a compact, portable way to carry the power of the Rosary with you throughout your daily life. Designed for "prayer on the go," they maintain the same artisanal quality as our full-sized collections.

• Precision Composition: Each piece is crafted with ten 8mm semi-precious Hail Mary beads and a single, substantial 10mm Our Father bead. To highlight the importance of the Pater Noster, the 10mm stone is framed by ornamental bead caps.

• The Finished Design: Each Decade Rosary begins with our proprietary 18K gold-plated St. Benedict crucifix and concludes with a high-definition cabochon medal featuring a sacred image of a Saint, Angel, or the Blessed Mother.

• The Shield of the Faithful: Every Decade Rosary features our proprietary St. Benedict crucifix with the original 18th-century 1741 medal. This ensures you are praying with a historically accurate and spiritually powerful sacramental.

• Advanced Metallurgy & Tiered Plating: Our crucifixes are crafted from high-grade stainless steel with genuine, heavy 18K Gold plating applied via electrolytic deposition. To ensure aesthetic harmony, smaller components like spacers and bead caps are made from jewelry-grade brass or alloys, finished with a coordinating gold or rose-gold color coating. All metal components are Nickel and Lead-free.

• Limited Edition Status: These designs are produced in limited series based on our current stock of rare stones and unique medals. Once materials are exhausted, the design may be discontinued.

Care and Handling

Our Decade Rosaries are not waterproof. To protect the high-end 18K gold plating and the glass cabochon centerpiece, please do not submerge in water. If the piece becomes wet, wipe it immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Keep your rosary in the provided velvet pouch when not in use.

The Holy Name vs. The Benedictine Motto

Many people notice that the crucifixes on our Royal, Majestic, and Classic rosaries look different from the ones found in local Catholic shops. The most significant difference lies at the very top of the St. Benedict medal.

The Modern Version (PAX): Most modern medals (the "Jubilee" version from 1880) feature the word PAX, which is Latin for "Peace." While peace is the beautiful motto of the Benedictine Order, it was not the original design approved by the Papacy for the medal’s use in spiritual warfare.

The Original Version (IHS): Our medals feature the IHS monogram. Derived from the first three letters of the Greek name for Jesus (ΙΗΣΟΥΣ), this monogram has been used since the earliest days of the Church to invoke the power of the Holy Name.

Why It Matters: > When Pope Benedict XIV approved the medal in 1741, he did so with the Name of Jesus (IHS) at its head. In the Rite of Exorcism and in the battle against "lost causes," it is not the abstract concept of "peace" that drives back darkness - it is the sovereign Name of Jesus. By restoring the IHS monogram to our rosaries, we return to the Christ-centered roots of this powerful sacramental, providing you with a "Shield of the Faithful" that is historically accurate and spiritually potent.
