Biographical: Born in 1149 in Castel Gualtieri, Italy; died September 14, 1214, in Acre (modern-day Israel). As the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, he famously wrote the Rule of St. Albert for the hermits on Mount Carmel. He was assassinated by stabbing while participating in a procession on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

St. Albert was a man of immense wisdom and diplomacy who sought to bring order and peace to the Holy Land. His martyrdom was a "wound of betrayal," as he was stabbed to death by a man he had previously removed from office for misconduct. Consequently, St. Albert is traditionally invoked for the healing of stab wounds, deep lacerations, and recovery from surgical incisions. Beyond physical trauma, he is a powerful intercessor for peace in the home and for those suffering from the emotional sting of betrayal or injustice. His oil is a sacramental of protection for those who walk difficult paths of leadership and for anyone seeking a "rule of life" amidst chaotic circumstances.

The Recipe: Our blend features Spikenard (Nardo) from Israel, Mediterranean olive leaf, and Rose or Lavender fragrance, all held in a premium Sweet Almond carrier oil. A fabric 3rd-class relic is submerged within the bottle.

Refillable: Because the fabric relic remains in the bottle, you may refill the vessel once it is empty. It will automatically become a 3rd-class relic oil upon contact with the relic. If you do not have access to specific oil blends, we recommend using Extra Virgin Olive Oil for your refills.

The Card: (If selected) 2 5/8in x 5 1/8in (67mm x 130mm). Handcrafted with 8mil photo paper and 5mil lamination with a clear-view relic window.

Usage Note: PLEASE SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Spikenard oil is naturally less viscous and will settle at the bottom; this is a sign of the oil's purity and biblical authenticity.
