The name Fulton translates from ancient roots as "bird," while Sheen derives from the Gaelic Ó Síocháin, meaning "peaceful one." Like the dove returning to Noah’s Ark bearing the olive branch of reconciliation, or the Holy Ghost descending in the form of a dove, Blessed Fulton Sheen sent his voice across the airwaves as a divine messenger.
